For Edible Kinetic Sand

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • few drops food coloring your choice of colors
  • 1 tsp edible glitter optional
  • 1–2 tsp water

For Toast

  • thick bread slices white, wheat, or sourdough
  • butter or frosting to help sprinkles stick

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and cornstarch. Add food coloring and 1–2 teaspoons of water to slightly dampen and color the sugar. Stir until it clumps slightly like kinetic sand.

  • Toast slices of bread until golden.
  • Spread toast with butter or frosting to create a sticky surface.
