  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh turmeric root peeled and chopped
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper for absorption of turmeric
  • 1 tbsp raw honey optional, for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, black pepper, honey (if using), and water to a blender or juicer.
  • Blend until ingredients are thoroughly combined and smooth.
  • Strain the mixture if desired, and pour evenly into shot glasses.
  • Enjoy immediately, or store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
