Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon drained and flaked (14-15 oz)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well and form into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These salmon patties pair well with a side salad, roasted veggies, or a light yogurt-based sauce.
