Ingredients
  

  • - 1 lb ground beef 85% lean
  • - 1 small onion finely chopped
  • - 1 small green bell pepper finely chopped
  • - 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • - 1/2 cup mushrooms finely chopped
  • - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • - 1/4 cup milk
  • - 1 large egg
  • - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • - 1 tsp garlic powder
  • - 1 tsp onion powder
  • - 1/2 tsp salt
  • - 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • - 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).  
  • 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft. Let cool slightly.  
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.  
  • 4. Mix well and shape into a loaf on a lined baking sheet.  
  • 5. Bake for 40-45 minutes.  
  • 6. Sprinkle shredded provolone on top and bake for another 5 minutes until melted.  
  • 7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.  

Notes

- Use leaner ground beef to reduce fat content.  
- Substitute provolone with mozzarella or cheddar for different flavors.  
- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed cauliflower for a low-carb option.
