- - 1 lb ground beef 85% lean
- - 1 small onion finely chopped
- - 1 small green bell pepper finely chopped
- - 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- - 1/2 cup mushrooms finely chopped
- - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- - 1/4 cup milk
- - 1 large egg
- - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- - 1 tsp garlic powder
- - 1 tsp onion powder
- - 1/2 tsp salt
- - 1/2 tsp black pepper
- - 1 tbsp olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft. Let cool slightly.
3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
4. Mix well and shape into a loaf on a lined baking sheet.
