Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup water filtered
  • 1 bag green tea
  • 1 inch fresh ginger sliced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar raw, unfiltered
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the sliced ginger and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add the green tea bag. Steep for 3 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a cup to remove ginger slices and the tea bag.
  • Add the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and honey (if using). Stir well.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper on top for an extra metabolism boost, if desired.
  • Enjoy warm, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.

Notes

For best results, consume this drink daily in the morning. Adjust the amount of honey to taste, or omit it to reduce calorie intake.
