Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and cocoa powder.
Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
Pour batter into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
While the brownies bake, prepare the frosting: In a bowl, mix butter, milk, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar until smooth.
Let brownies cool slightly, then spread frosting over warm brownies.
Let the frosting set before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
Notes
For an extra fudgy texture, slightly underbake the brownies and let them cool completely before cutting.
