Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup fresh turmeric root peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh ginger root peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey or coconut sugar, optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper for enhanced absorption

Instructions
 

  • Blend chopped turmeric and ginger with 1 cup of water until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan, add remaining water, and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, then strain into a pitcher.
  • Add honey, lime juice, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving, or enjoy warm.

Notes

Drink daily to enjoy its health benefits. Black pepper enhances the absorption of turmeric's beneficial compounds.
