Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates pitted
  • 2 tbsp nut or seed butter almond, peanut, or tahini
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 2-4 tbsp water or milk adjust for consistency
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch sea salt optional, balances sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Soak dates in warm water for 10 minutes if they are not already soft.
  • Drain the dates and add them to a blender or food processor.
  • Add nut or seed butter, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt (if using).
  • Blend until smooth, gradually adding water or milk to reach desired consistency.
  • Scrape down the sides as needed and continue blending until creamy.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For extra depth of flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon. Use as a dip for fruit, spread on toast, or drizzle over desserts!
