Instructions
Soak dates in warm water for 10 minutes if they are not already soft.
Drain the dates and add them to a blender or food processor.
Add nut or seed butter, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt (if using).
Blend until smooth, gradually adding water or milk to reach desired consistency.
Scrape down the sides as needed and continue blending until creamy.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
For extra depth of flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon. Use as a dip for fruit, spread on toast, or drizzle over desserts!
