Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large croissants store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup cookie dough chilled
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 tbsp butter melted, for brushing

Egg Wash (Optional)

  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp milk for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice each croissant in half lengthwise, creating a top and bottom half.
  • Spread an even layer of cookie dough on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over the cookie dough filling.
  • Place the top half of the croissant back on top, gently pressing down.
  • Brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter. For a glossy finish, use the egg wash instead.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the croissants are golden brown and the cookie dough is cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For extra decadence, drizzle with melted chocolate or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
